WordPress Blogging themes. How to work with “Project Terms” module in Power Builder

This tutorial will show you how to manage Project Terms module in WordPress Blogging Themes.

1. Open site admin panel, navigate to “Pages”> “Add new page” ;

   

2. Use “Power Builder” to be able to create a page with Power Builder and add your content.

   

3. Click on “Insert columns” button;

   

4. Select page layout you prefer;

   

5. Scroll down and choose “No sidebar” layout;

   

6. Press the “Select Module(s)” section;

   

7. You will be able to select “Project Terms” module;

   

8. Let’s examine Project Terms Module settings:

   • Select general settings where you will be able to determine “Term Type”. Category type allows you to choose the posts from the existing categories. Tag term type outputs the post according to the existing project tags.

     

   • You are able to select project listing layout: grid, masonry and list.

     

     • Grid layout structures the posts in the following way:

       

     • Masonry layout places the elements in optimal position based on available vertical space, sort of like a mason fitting stones in a wall.

       

     • List layout is a view group that displays a list of scrollable items.

       

9. Columns section organizes posts according to the chosen number of columns. Posts per page is a number of posts displayed on one page. Item margin separates posts on a specific number of pixels, setting a distance between them.

   

10. Let’s look closer into loading animation option:

    

    • Fade animation – posts appear from darkness

    • Scale animation is presented on the screenshot below:

      

    • Move up animation – post appear from the bottom.

      

    • Flip animation – posts flip from above:

      

    • Helix animation – posts start opening from the middle:

      

    • Fail perspective animation – posts appear from the bottom:

      

11. Click save button and update the page.
